My philanthropic progression began with a deep examination of my charitable contributions by defining my biggest personal concerns: the future, women, women’s leadership, and changing hate to appreciate to celebrate.
I selected the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, and Delta Gamma to increase their ability to provide additional leadership training for girls and women.
These were my guidelines:
To stretch and be more significant in my donations.
Select organizations who already have outstanding leadership programs,
from whom I have benefitted in my own abilities and beliefs.
who would use my donations to provide additional leadership training to reach more girls and women globally - who have the goals of creating stronger countries and greater harmony worldwide based on honorable moral values.
An extra bonus, by increasing my donations while I am alive, I have the joy of seeing that I am making a difference now and for the future. And knowing that the money I leave after I die will be used wisely to continue meeting my personal passions.
